Elle Campbell made Milford cross country history Oct. 17, winning her third straight Eastern Cincinnati Conference individual title.
Campbell is the first athlete to claim the ECC individual crown three years in a row, according to Milford Athletics. She headlined a group of seven Eagles named ECC Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 18.
The girls cross country team also won its third consecutive ECC team championship, with sophomore Nora Lindley finishing seventh in 20:05.3, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. Head coach Matthew Jorden has led the program since 2017 and guided the Eagles to consecutive state appearances in 2024 and 2025, according to a Milford Schools coaching profile.
On the boys' side, Charlie Leatherwood earned his honor after finishing 11th and helping the Eagles tie with Lebanon in points, but Lebanon won the championship on the sixth-runner tiebreaker.
Two cross country titles. Two soccer shutouts. A breakout freshman football performance.
Football: MaKyen Clark and Brody Selhorst
Junior nose guard MaKyen Clark posted eight tackles, six of them solo, with one tackle for loss and a forced fumble against Little Miami. Milford fell 28-13 in that game.
Freshman Brody Selhorst made the most of his first extended varsity action of the season. He racked up 108 all-purpose yards on seven touches, highlighted by a 64-yard kickoff return, the longest by any Eagle this year. He added 30 rushing yards on two carries and caught two passes for 14 yards.
Girls soccer: Madison Cartmell
Senior Madison Cartmell leads the Eagles in points this season, including a hat trick in a 7-0 win over Mercy McAuley earlier in the fall. Milford drew 0–0 with Loveland on Oct. 20, finishing 6–0–3 and sharing the ECC championship with Anderson.
Volleyball: Micaela Davis
Setter Micaela Davis earned the nod after a strong week that included her Senior Night. Milford's volleyball squad sits at 15-7 overall and 13-3 in ECC play after sweeping Walnut Hills 25-18, 25-13, 25-18.
Boys soccer: Knox Zurmehly
Knox Zurmehly tallied two assists and helped the Eagles post a shutout in a 6-0 league win over West Clermont on Oct. 15.
