Symmes Township's outdoor Movie Night, originally scheduled for Saturday, August 1, has been postponed due to the weather forecast. As of Friday, July 31, no rescheduled date has been announced.

Milford residents push for action as parking study nears completion

Milford residents pressed Mayor Ralph Vilardo on downtown parking at a July 29 community forum, and a city-commissioned parking study from spring 2026 could go before city council as early as August 10 as the city weighs tens of millions in new downtown development.

Clermont County places CPS renewal levy on November ballot

Clermont County commissioners placed a Children's Protective Services renewal levy on the November 3 ballot, a vote that will reach Loveland, Milford, and Symmes Township taxpayers. Separately, Loveland's noise ordinance rewrite remains in early draft stages as residents and businesses debate decibel limits versus a reasonableness standard.

Clermont County backs Loveland police drone grant bid

Clermont County commissioners voted Thursday, Aug. 20 to formally support the Loveland Police Department's application for federal COPS Office grant money to purchase a police drone, with EMA Director Shawn Riley having executed the county's letter of support on Aug. 10.

Loveland approves sidewalk contract connecting 400 homes to downtown

Loveland City Council on Aug. 25 awarded a right-of-way consulting contract for the $2.76 million SR-48/Butterworth Road sidewalk project, sold a conservation easement along Riverside Drive to the Little Miami Conservancy, and appointed John Rost to the Finance Commission.
