Crews are closing Second Street in downtown Loveland every night through Friday, Oct. 23, for sanitary sewer repairs.

The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati, known as MSD, began the overnight work Monday, Oct. 5, according to a city civic alert. The street shuts down at 7 p.m. and reopens at 5 a.m.

The city said a detour will be posted each night, and the contractor must install signage before closing the road. The city asked drivers to plan ahead and follow posted signs while the work is underway.
