State finals move to new venue

The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) announced the 2026 state soccer championships will be played at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field in Columbus, home of Major League Soccer's Columbus Crew. The move from Historic Crew Stadium is due to turf maintenance at that venue, the OHSAA said.

The OHSAA's tournament calendar lists sectionals running Oct. 19-24, districts Oct. 26-31, regionals Nov. 3-8 and state semifinals Nov. 10-11. State finals run Nov. 13-16, with girls championships on Nov. 13-14 and boys on Nov. 15-16. The 20,139-seat stadium opened in 2021.

All 10 championship games will be streamed live on the NFHS Network, according to the OHSAA. Tickets will be available at OHSAA.org/tickets.
