Milford receivers Camden Barbro and Caylob Brasington combined for 315 yards and four touchdowns against Loveland on Friday, Sept. 11.

The performance earned both a spot among seven Eagles named Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC) Athletes of the Week. The pair became the first Milford duo to each top 100 receiving yards in a single game since October 2022, according to Milford Athletics.

Barbro, a sophomore, caught six passes for 163 yards with scoring receptions of 39 and 48 yards. Brasington, a junior, hauled in seven catches for 152 yards, scoring on a 61-yard reception and a nine-yard grab. Brasington also converted his third two-point conversion in two weeks.

Sophomore quarterback Aiden Wehrum threw all five of Milford's touchdown passes in the game, per Yahoo Sports/Cincinnati Enquirer coverage. Loveland trailed 27-6 in the third quarter and 35-22 with 11:49 remaining, then scored twice in the final four minutes to win 36-35. A fumble on Milford's final drive sealed the comeback.

Five other Eagles earned weekly honors spanning cross country, soccer and golf.

Audrey Bellar led the Milford girls cross country team through rain and mud at the Little Miami Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 13, guiding a shorthanded squad to a top-five team finish. Sam Newman lowered his career personal record by two seconds on the same soggy course for the boys team.

Faith Hampson earned the girls soccer nod for her box-to-box midfield play on both sides of the ball. Senior goalkeeper Brandon Rude collected six saves in a 2-1 boys soccer loss to Elder.

Addie Skinner rounded out the honorees by posting a career-low 18-hole score at the ECC Postseason Tournament in difficult weather conditions. Her exact score was not included in the announcement.

Wehrum has accounted for 14 touchdown passes through four weeks. He threw five scores in his first varsity start against Walnut Hills on Aug. 28 and added four more the following week against Winton Woods.
