Branch Hill-Miamiville Road will close for two months starting Sept. 28 while crews install a new sanitary sewer line.
The closure covers the stretch between the bridge over the Little Miami River and Tarkington Lane and is expected to last through Nov. 30, Clermont County Engineer Jeremy Evans' office announced. The Clermont County Water Resources Department and its contractor are building the line along that section of road, the Clermont Guardian reported.
A posted detour will route through traffic around the work zone. Local traffic will be maintained.
The engineer's office said families in two school districts will feel the effects: Loveland Local Schools and Milford Exempted Village School District, both of which serve the Branch Hill area. Branch Hill is an unincorporated community in Miami Township along the Little Miami River near Loveland.
The county is asking drivers to expect delays and use alternate routes while the work is underway.
