Drivers who use Dry Run Road in Miami Township will need to find another way starting Thursday, Sept. 24, when the road closes for a bridge replacement expected to last nearly two months.
Crews will replace Bridge No. T233-1.33, south of the intersection with Sugar Camp Road, the Clermont Guardian reported, citing the Clermont County Engineer's Office. The bridge has been described as aging. No condition rating has been released.
Work is scheduled to run through Saturday, Nov. 14. A posted detour covers roughly 8.64 miles. The specific detour roads have not been named.
The closure will also affect bus routes for the Milford Exempted Village School District, which serves the area, according to the engineer's office. The district has not publicly detailed which routes will change.
No project cost, contractor or funding source has been released.
