Two Loveland residents face felony charges after a Warren County grand jury handed down indictments on Friday, Oct. 23.
Jerome Lattawke Neal, 38, of Townsley Drive in Loveland, was indicted on four counts, according to the Warren County Prosecutor's Office. The most serious charge is failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony.
Neal allegedly failed to stop his vehicle for police in Deerfield Township on Sept. 21 "in a manner that caused a substantial risk of serious physical harm to persons and/or property," the prosecutor’s release states. The following day, also in Deerfield Township, he allegedly possessed drugs and stolen property.
His full list of charges includes aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; receiving stolen property, a first-degree misdemeanor; and obstructing official business, a second-degree misdemeanor. The prosecutor’s Oct. 26 release listed Neal as being held in the Warren County Jail. His arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m.
Johnny T. Vo, 21, of Autumn Harvest Drive in Loveland, was indicted on one count of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person, a fourth-degree felony. The indictment alleges Vo possessed material depicting a minor engaged in sexual activity on Feb. 16 in Deerfield Township. Vo's arraignment is set for Friday, Nov. 13 at 8:30 a.m.
Both cases were filed through Mason Municipal Court before going to the grand jury. Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell's office released the results on Monday, Oct. 26.
The Oct. 23 session produced 20 indictments countywide. Cases ranged from drug trafficking and felonious assault to domestic violence and telecommunications fraud, spanning incidents in communities across Warren County.
The indictment does not identify which law enforcement agencies investigated the cases involving Neal and Vo. The specific controlled substance Neal allegedly possessed is also not named in the filing.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Case information is available through the Warren County Clerk of Courts.
