A vehicle fire broke out early Aug. 25, at Sora's Towing on state Route 28 in Milford, fully engulfing one car and damaging two others before firefighters knocked it down.
No one was injured, Milford Fire & EMS said.
Photos posted by the department show the vehicle consumed by flames on the towing lot as crews worked to extinguish the blaze. Damage was limited to the car where the fire started and two vehicles parked nearby, according to the Clermont Guardian, citing the department.
Miami Township Fire & EMS sent crews to assist under a mutual-aid agreement. Milford Fire & EMS publicly thanked the neighboring department for its response.
The department has not released a cause for the fire or indicated whether the incident remains under investigation.
Sora's Towing has operated at the Route 28 location since 1980. The business has a longstanding relationship with the city's fire department; as recently as November 2025, Milford's antique 1945 fire engine was sent there for motor work, according to city council minutes.
