What's ahead

The OHSAA releases one more weekly update before the final ratings drop Oct. 25. Playoff qualifiers will be announced Oct. 25, with first-round games set for Oct. 30, hosted by the higher seed.

Both teams would need to win their final two games while hoping for significant losses among the teams currently ahead of them. Neither program appeared in the top 16 in the Week 7 ratings either, according to the OHSAA's Week 7 report republished by Richland Source.
