A free vintage baseball tournament and a new Veterans Appreciation Car Show land at Miami Meadows Park on Sept. 12.
The Miami Township Recreation Department is hosting the event as the final installment of its 2026 Second Saturday series. The car show opens at 9 a.m. at 1546 State Route 131 in Milford.
The Veterans Appreciation Car Show, new this year, runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Anyone with a vintage or classic vehicle can register in advance or on-site. To sign up, contact Cassidy Craig with Miami Township at [email protected] or call Jim at 513-462-3410.
The vintage baseball tournament begins at noon with a three-team, single round-robin format. The Miami Township GOATS take on Milford at approximately 1:30 p.m., then challenge the Red Stockings at approximately 3 p.m.
Cincinnati Reds mascots are expected on-site around 1:30 p.m. for photos.
The township promoted the event on its official Facebook page as a celebration of history, baseball and community. Loveland Daily News first reported the full schedule and details.
Food trucks will serve meals throughout the day. The Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce will handle alcohol sales. Stitch & Style Alterations and Evan's Funeral Home are sponsoring the event.
