Every pint poured at Little Miami Brewing Co. on Aug. 28 will send a dollar toward Art Affaire, Milford's signature Main Street art show now entering its 20th year.
The Greater Milford Area Historical Society organized the fundraiser at the brewery, 208 Mill St. in downtown Milford, running from 5 to 8 p.m., according to the Clermont Guardian. Beyond the per-pint donation, patrons can add $1, $3 or $5 at checkout. Little Miami Brewing Co., which Dan Lynch and Joe Brenner founded along the Little Miami River and bike trail in December 2018, will host the evening with brewmaster Jim Strelau behind the taps.
Proceeds go to the historical society's work maintaining the Promont House Museum and preserving the history of Milford and Miami Township. The museum is an 1865 Victorian Italianate mansion that once served as home to John M. Pattison, Ohio's 43rd governor.
Art Affaire launched in 2005. The show started at Promont House before moving to Main Street, according to the historical society's Facebook page, and it has grown into Milford's largest annual fundraiser for the organization. The Clermont Guardian reports the show now draws roughly 120 artists alongside live music and food vendors each fall, though historical society representatives Marti Kleinfelter and Amy Pitts told Milford City Council in August 2024 that participation had topped 145 artists by the show's 18th year.
The growth has been steady.
This year's Art Affaire takes place Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Main Street in downtown Milford. Admission is free.
