Symmes Township's outdoor Movie Night won't happen Saturday, Aug. 1, as planned.

The township announced Wednesday, July 29, that the event has been postponed because of an unfavorable weather forecast. As of Friday, July 31, no rescheduled date had been posted to the township's website.

The township asked residents to stay tuned for a new date and apologized for the inconvenience, according to a civic alert on symmestownship.org. The alert indicates the event is delayed, not canceled.

Residents can monitor the township's News Flash page at symmestownship.org for the rescheduled date. The site also offers a Notify Me email and text subscription service that sends automatic alerts when new announcements are published. The township's main phone line is 513-683-6644.

The film title for the Aug. 1 showing was not listed in the township's announcement.
