A driver was extricated and airlifted after a rollover crash on Interstate 275 near Miamiville Road in the Loveland area Sept. 2.

Emergency crews were dispatched shortly after 6 p.m. after the vehicle overturned and trapped the driver inside, according to emergency radio traffic monitored by the Clermont Guardian. The driver was reported unconscious.

Miami Township Fire Department crews set up a landing zone and called for a medical helicopter. Air Care landed at the scene shortly after 6:08 p.m. to transport the patient.

Units directed traffic near I-275 and Miamiville Road while crews worked the scene.
