Herold Road near Loveland will close on Sept. 15 and Sept. 16 so Duke Energy can perform utility work near the State Route 32 intersection.

The Clermont County Engineer's Office announced the road will shut down about 1,000 feet north of SR 32 on Tuesday, Sept. 15, and Wednesday, Sept. 16. Both closures run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Drivers should follow posted detour signs and expect delays.

The stretch of Herold Road at SR 32 saw separate construction earlier in the summer. The Ohio Department of Transportation announced June 24 that a safety improvement project would close Herold Road in both directions for seven days starting July 6 and restrict SR 32 to one lane in each direction for 30 days. The September Duke Energy closure is a different project.

Drivers who use Herold Road during midday hours on Sept. 15 or Sept. 16 should plan extra time or find an alternate route before 9 a.m.
