The Loveland Tigers girls soccer team picked up its first win of the 2026 fall season, beating Summit Country Day 3-1 on Aug. 29.
Loveland carried a 1-0 lead into halftime. The Tigers then added two more goals after the break to secure the result. Assistant Athletic Director Shayne Lyons posted the halftime score on X, and Athletic Director Jayson Bruce confirmed the final on the school's official athletics account.
The victory is a step forward for a Loveland squad that opened the season with a draw.
It was also a first for Summit Country Day, but not the kind the Knights wanted. The Knights' official athletics account confirmed the 3-1 loss was Summit's first defeat of the 2026 season.
